How does BlueOcean compare to Google Analytics 360, and how can we cross-reference our score against it? What elements does Brand Navigator have that Google Analytics 360 doesn’t?

Fundamentally BlueOcean and Google Analytics serve different purposes. However, they can be used in tandem. BlueOcean signals urgency to act while supplemental tools such as Google Analytics provide additional context/granularity on how to act. Google Analytics focuses on your brand’s performance, whereas BlueOcean demonstrates your brand’s performance relative to your competitors and gives you a look into your competitors’ performance. You can drill down through the Factors in the Market Index to get to these metrics or go straight to the Metrics section (second icon from the bottom on the left-hand nav).

We always encourage cross-referencing metrics and sharing what you find when you do so! Our metrics are pulled from a variety of partners and public sources. To get digital metrics, you can go to the metrics section of our tool (second icon from the bottom) and select “Digital” in the drop-down menu. Again, you can access most of these metrics live in the Familiar Factor as well as within the Market Index.
