How does BlueOcean define “audience”?

As we gather data for each brand in your cohort, we are scraping content generated by the brand itself and content generated by others about the brand (audience content). Audience content is sourced primarily from places like social media posts and review sites. Together, brand and audience content  shape how a brand appears online to current or potential customers and prospects.

The “audience” is a sampling of people who have encountered or interacted with the brand and are motivated to make their opinions about it public for any reason. Our platform considers how important it is for a brand to understand digital perception – what both champions and detractors are saying, 

Can I segment the audience?

At this time, our brand strategy platform is not intended to provide you with a traditional, static segmentation so you cannot segment your audience in Brand Navigator. This feature may be incorporated into future releases.
