What happened to Twitter data in Brand Navigator?

As a result of changes to Twitter’s API service levels, the last Twitter data acquired occurred on April 23, 2023. 

At this point in time, Twitter does not have a valid service level for BlueOcean to support our core use case. Therefore, we removed Twitter from our Blue Score calculations as of Tuesday, July 25, 2023. While we cannot anticipate when Twitter may re-evaluate its strategy, we will be ready to re-incorporate the data.  

For customers, this means that over the following week, all by-channel breakouts go down to zero for the Twitter data source only.  You will still be able to see historical data, but scores will no longer include Twitter.  You may see a slight, one-time shift in your Blue Score, and nested Factors and Subfactors (Factor Familiar associated Subfactors of Considered, Amplified and Factor Consistency and associated Subfactor Stable), depending on your level of activity in Twitter compared to competitors, as other data sources like Facebook and LinkedIn’s relative impact will go up slightly.
